It turns out that if you tell the world you’re an expert in something, they either won’t believe you, or they won’t care.

You need to show your target market that you’re an expert and an authority in your industry.

Through short educational video content you can help your target market achieve something they want to achieve or (more importantly) avoid something they really want to avoid.

But if you and your company give first (through video content) the people that you have given to (your target market) are more likely to take a specific action when you ask them to.

Whether that’s buy, book a free consultation or sign up for a lead magnet.

Entertaining advertising is notoriously difficult to get right.

It can often miss the mark completely, or hit but not have anything to do with the company’s products or services.

A lot of businesses provide products and services that their target market don’t necessarily understand, or need to understand better before they are ready to buy.

    Hi Ben,
    Good information given in your blog, thanks. I’ve been trying FB ads for 2 weeks now, images first then videos. The videos have attracted around 200 views with about 20 clicks on the website at very small cost–highly attractive well known actresses speaking for us generally. I don’t think it’s realistic for me to expect those who have gone onto my website page (it’s part of a national site which generates leads and is more prestigious than having a lot of sites dotted around) to register for a talk or fill out the Contact form on there which needs searching for.
    Now I’m going to slim down the videos to 30/40 seconds and put it/them on Canvas.
    What I am struggling with is how to put a Contact form on the FB Ad which comes at the end of the video–rather than take to my Website page which isn’t capable of taking a FB pixcel for one centre of 80.
    Any comments would be appreciated. The course sounds good to structure a campaign but first I need to feel a bit more confident as I’ve given up on internet courses in the past very quickly.
